Amalfi Coast Beaches
Latest update: 2 February 2024
The best Amalfi Coast Beaches can be found all along the 34 mile seaside stretch which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Starting from Positano to the west and continuing to the town of Vietri sul Mare to the east, the Amalfi Coast is characterised by its steep cliffs overlooking small bays of delightful turquoise beaches. Positano itself has two of the best beaches: Fornillo and Spiaggia Grande with the latter being the same name as the main beach in the town of Amalfi. It's difficult to say which is the absolute best but in terms of aesthetic charm it's hard to beat the main beach in Atrani or its near neighbour Castiglione with its stunning sea. |
