Piazza Sant'Antonino
Latest update: 2 February 2024
Piazza Sant'Antonino is situated in the very heart of Sorrento, close to all the town's main attractions and amenities.
From here you can reach Piazza Tasso, Villa Comunale Park and Via San Cesareo on foot in just a couple of minutes. In the centre of the square there's a statue of Sant'Antonino in attractive garden which sits just in front of the Conservatorio Santa Maria delle Grazie which in turn forms part of the Santa Maria delle Grazie church complex. |
On the opposite side of the square is another church, the Basilica di Sant'Antonino which is where the piazza takes its name from. Around the edges of the square you'll find various restaurants and shops as well as two ways of reaching Marina Piccola. One is a road, Via Luigi de Maio which walkers should ignore as there's a pathway that's better to use, starting just to the left of the Basilica di Sant'Antonino.
