Latest update: 1 February 2024
If you have time for a Capri Three Day Itinerary then you really are in for a treat!
Although you still won't be able to see absolutely everything the island has to offer, you'll go away having seen the very best things and will no doubt have some great memories into the bargain. Our three day itinerary below is based on staying in a hotel in Anacapri. |

Day One
The best journeys around Anacapri tend to start at Piazza Vittoria so make your way here as your starting point
From Piazza Vittoria take the chairlift up Mount Solaro. Maybe it's time for a mid-morning snack at that stage
Head back down on the chairlift and make your way into the town centre, visiting the shops and in particular Chiesa San Michele Arcangelo
Stop for lunch in Anacapri town centre
After lunch you can take the Phoenician Steps down to Marina Grande, passing Villa San Michele to enjoy the views along the way
Spend the afternoon relaxing at Marina Grande Beach or Bagni di Tiberio
Take the bus back to Anacapri and enjoy your evening there
Day Two
Take the bus from Piazza della Pace down to Punta Carena Lighthouse
Take the Path of the Forts walk, finishing at the Blue Grotto
Descend the steps to the Blue Grotto and wait to be picked up by one of the wooden rowboats who'll take you into the cave
Take the bus up to Anacapri and stop for lunch
After lunch take the bus to Capri Town
Visit the Piazzetta and then make your way to Augustus Gardens to admire the views
After Augustus Gardens pop into the Certosa di San Giacomo
Stroll along Via Camerelle and then make your way back to the bus station
Take the bus back to Anacapri
Day Three
Take the bus from Piazza della Pace to Capri Town
Make your way through the Piazzetta and head for Belvedere di Tragara for views of the Faraglioni rocks
Take the Faraglioni Walk and relax on the beach before grabbing lunch
After lunch walk along the Pizzolungo walk, finishing at the top of the (many!) steps by the Arco Naturale
From the Arco Naturale walk along Via Matermania before turning right on to Via Tiberio
From Via Tiberio follow the signs for Villa Jovis, visit there and then follow the path through the trees down to Villa Lysis
After visiting Villa Lysis make your way back to the town centre before either having dinner there or resting your weary limbs back in Anacapri which you can reach via the bus station
