Augustus Gardens
Latest update: 1 February 2024
Known locally as Giardini di Augusto, Augustus Gardens is one of the prettiest places on the island of Capri. Aside from the beautiful, floral gardens there are some of the most spectacular views in southern Italy. Looking on one side you can see the Faraglioni rocks, the iconic image of Capri, while on the other you can see Via Krupp with the beaches of Marina Piccola in the distance.
You can reach Augustus Gardens within a 5 minute walk from Capri Town and its Piazzetta. From there, head towards the Certosa di San Giacomo and turn right along the pretty path before reaching the entrance to the gardens at the end. Tickets to visit the gardens are just €1 per person and the garden stays open from 09:00 to 19:30 during the summer (April - October) or from 09:30 to 17:30 during March & November. |
