The ferry routes from Capri include 11 destinations, mostly within the Gulf of Naples but also the Amalfi Coast.
Marina Grande is the main port in Capri and during the summer months it sees a throng of people arriving every morning from a range of locations. Chief among those is Naples where people either fly into the airport or take a train down from Rome to then take the crossing to Capri for their holiday. Capri is a popular day-trip destination with the vast majority of its daily visitors coming from Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. |
