Furore
Latest update: 2 February 2024
The village of Furore lies both sides of the Amalfi Coast Road between Praiano and Conca dei Marini.
Listed as one of the "Borghi Più Belli d'Italia" (Most Beautiful Villages in Italy), Furore is split into two distinct areas. The best known of those is the beach area known as Marina di Furore, a small gorge with a bridge running across its top. If visiting the beach it's worth noting that during the afternoon it's largely in the shade so if you're looking for a place to sunbathe it's best to visit in the morning. |
The other part of Furore is the village which is some 600 metres above the beach area and takes around 2 hours to walk to up a precipitous path but by car it just takes a few minutes.
