Duoglio Beach
Latest page update: 6 January 2025
The Commune of Amalfi's Duoglio Beach provides one of the Amalfi Coast region's most famous picture-postcard scenes.
The crystal clear azure water of the beach mark it out as one of the most prized in the area with photographers and sunbathers alike finding equal joy in its attributes. With its slightly tricky access, the beach is quieter than those in the likes of Amalfi and Positano. |
Located around a kilometre west of the town of Amalfi, the climb down the 400 or so steps from the main road is well worth the effort.
However, as is the case with many beaches along the Amalfi Coast, it's best to visit in the mornings in order to make the most of the sunshine which disappears behind the rocks in the afternoons.
