The above times are estimates only and subject to tidal patterns and sea conditions on any given day. The most difficult time to estimate is that of the wait to visit the Blue Grotto which can be anything from 10 minutes to more than two hours, depending on the time of year and how busy that particular day is.
Where above we've given estimated times 'without stopping', it's just to give you an idea of how long things would take if we didn't stop. For tours around Capri we generally travel at a slow cruising pace to ensure you see the highlights such as the various grottoes (other than the Blue Grotto), Punta Carena and the Faraglioni rocks for example.
On a half day tour there's plenty of time to relax and see Capri from the water and to swim in its beautiful turquoise seas. However, to include a visit to the Blue Grotto and/or to explore the island on foot is less advisable due to the time constraints.
