Capri  White  Grotto

The White Grotto or "Grotta Bianca" to give it its Italian name is a cave on the eastern coast of Capri. 

One of the main characteristics of the cave are the stalactites that dangle like the Sword of Damocles at its mouth. There are two levels inside the cave and it's only the lower level which the boats can partially enter. To visit the cave you can either rent a boat for the day or taking the cheaper option, one of the boat tours that complete a circuit around the whole island, stopping briefly at the Grotta Bianca.
