Amalfi Coast Private Boat Tours
Latest update: 31 March 2022
Our selection of Amalfi Coast private boat tours provide an opportunity to visit the local area as well as the nearby islands.
We have a large number of boats, with prices of the most popular boats listed further down this page. We can start the boat tours from the main ports in Positano and Amalfi, as well as a selected number of hotels that have their own, adequate pier. The tours last eight hours and come with an English-speaking skipper and complimentary drinks. We also provide dry snacks, fresh fruit, freshly-cleaned towels. |

The skipper is there to look after you for the day and the tours are exclusive, just for your own party, you won't be sharing with any passengers you don't know. If you want to eat at a restaurant accessible from the water, the skipper will give you some recommendations, but you also have the opportunity of bringing your own food on board if you wish, or even to visit a land-based restaurant on one of the islands.
For tours to Capri, we'll sail across to the island and spend most of the day there, showing you around the little coves and grottoes that the island is so famous for. Nearly everybody that visits Capri wants to visit the Blue Grotto and we'll help you do that too. Access to the Blue Grotto is strictly controlled locally by a system of licensed operatives who are allowed to take you inside the grotto on one of their smaller, wooden boats. Whether you take a private tour, have your own boat or even take one of the public tours staring from Capri, to visit the Grotto you have to transfer to one of the smaller boats that are waiting outside the cave. Admission to the Grotto costs €14 per person (€10 for the wooden boat and €4 to enter the cave), which is not included in our package.
Also please note that in Capri, a local tax of €100 is applicable should you wish to get off the boat at the island's main port which is called Marina Grande. This tax is not applicable to the Blue Grotto or any other part of the island however.
Making a booking with us is simple; just send us an email to info@sorrentoreview.com stating the number of participants, the desired date of your tour, where you'd like to start the tour from and of course, any questions you may have. Once you decide to go ahead with a tour, we send you a secure payment link which allows you to pay for the tour by Visa, American Express or Mastercard.
In the event of a tour being cancelled due to bad weather, we will first try to rebook with you for another day that you’re available and the boat is available. In cases where no alternative dates are available for the client and the boat, we will provide a full refund. Please note, the decision on whether conditions are suitable to take the boat out rests solely with the skipper.
If you cancel the booking for any reason with at least 7 days’ notice, we will provide a full refund of your payment.
For tours cancelled between 3, and 6 days’ notice, we will refund 50% of your payment.
For any cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of the tour the total amount is payable, and no refund will be made.
