The Sorrento to Capri, Positano and Amalfi private boat tour offers the chance to see the region's best sights on the same day.
Starting from Sorrento in one of our traditional Gozzo boats, we first head across to the island of Capri, cruise around it and either visit the Blue Grotto or the island on foot. From there we take you across to Amalfi where you can get off the boat to explore. |
From Amalfi we head to Positano where you have more time to explore on foot before completing the day by returning to Sorrento. It should be noted that this is very much a whistle-stop tour and depending how busy the day is, we may not be able to reach every one of the intended destinations.
Our skipper is there to advise you on the day how much time you have to explore on foot and how long left that leaves in each of the subsequent stops etc. Below you'll find a typical itinerary which can be used as a guideline but is very much dependent on the prevailing conditions on any given day.

This private tour is exclusively for you, your friends, family, or partner, ensuring a personalized and intimate atmosphere.
We provide complimentary drinks including Prosecco, Limoncello, water, and soft drinks, along with light snacks such as potato chips to keep you refreshed. Optional stops for swimming are available if you wish to take a dip in the sparkling Mediterranean, but you’re welcome to simply enjoy the views and relax. We’ll also recommend great waterfront restaurants for lunch, or we can try to accommodate any restaurant requests you may have within the itinerary.
After free transfers from your accommodation in Sorrento to the marina, we begin your journey by cruising along the Sorrentine Peninsula. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Sorrento’s cliffs and the beautiful Bay of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius looming majestically in the distance. The coastline here is dotted with charming villages, dramatic cliffs, and hidden beaches accessible only by boat.

Our first stop is Capri, where you’ll embark on a full circuit around the island. The beauty of Capri is unmatched as you pass by the famous Faraglioni rocks—three towering sea stacks rising from the water—and dramatic sea caves. You’ll have the chance to take in the lush cliffs, luxury villas, and the sparkling Mediterranean waters that surround the island. The iconic Blue Grotto will also be part of your journey, where you’ll experience the mesmerizing blue light that illuminates the waters inside this famous sea cave.
After Capri, we head to Positano, one of the most beautiful and picturesque towns on the Amalfi Coast. As you approach by boat, you’ll see Positano’s colorful buildings cascading down the cliffs to the beach below. On foot, you can explore the charming narrow streets, lined with boutique shops, cafés, and art galleries. The Church of Santa Maria Assunta, with its colorful majolica-tiled dome, is a highlight, and from the upper parts of Positano, you can enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the coastline. Stroll along the beach or visit the many shops offering local goods such as handcrafted sandals and ceramics.
