The district of Mergellina lies to the west of Naples city centre and is the location of an important ferry port from which you can cross the sea to the nearby island of Ischia and further afield to Sicily.
Mergellina is one of the most upscale areas of the city with a seafront boulevard and smart town centre with an important train station. From here it's just a short distance to the Posillipo area. |
