The Pio Monte della Misericordia is a church and a religious museum situated in Naples' centro storico, the historic centre.
One of the biggest draws of the museum is Caravaggio's The Seven Works of Mercy which he painted at the beginning of the 17th century, shortly after the church was established in 1602. The church is located on Via dei Tribunali, the Decumanus Maggiore. |
