Capri Private Boat Tours
Latest update: 25 March 2022
Whether you're staying overnight or just visiting for the day, we have a range of Capri boat tours that will help you make the most of your time on the island.
We offer an extensive range of boats, suitable for a single person up to a large group, as well as full day and half day options. All of our skippers speak English and our booking team are all from England itself, meaning you'll have no problems communicating with us either during the booking process or while you're enjoying yourselves on the beautiful water that surrounds Capri. |

We provide tours in a range of traditional Italian boats known as Gozzos. The boats are well-equipped with on-board WCs, plenty of places to sit or sunbathe and of course, canopies to provide shade against the southern Italian sunshine.
As part of the package we'll provide you with an English-speaking skipper who'll look after you throughout the day. The packages also include all fuel charges, towels, drinks throughout the day (Coca Cola/other sodas & soft drinks, canned beers, red & white wine, Prosecco, Limoncello and water) and snacks including fresh fruit and bread.
The tours last eight hours, starting at 10 am and finishing at 6 pm. During that time we'll take you on a complete circuit of Capri, stopping whenever you want to stop and allowing time to visit the main sights such as the Blue Grotto*, the Faraglioni and the other grottoes around the island.
*To visit the Blue Grotto you have to transfer to a smaller, wooden boat. This service is operated by the authorities in Capri and costs around €10 per person. Our boat will take you to the place where the wooden boats are waiting and then wait in line for the next slot to be available. During the summer, this can mean a very long wait so our skipper will advise you of the situation on that day.
Our skippers know all the best places where you can stop for a swim in beautiful clear water and can also offer suggestions on a number of restaurants that can be accessed from the sea. In every case, our skipper will give you suggestions including rough price per person and any other information that you may require. We understand some of you may not want to swim, particularly if taking a tour in low season so don't worry, you will not be forced or encouraged to enter the water if you don't want to. It's your day, we want to make you happy and the skipper is there to help make it a memorable experience for you.
The tours we offer are all private tours. This means you won't be sharing your boat with people you don't know and you can therefore decide which boat size or type will suit you best. If you're in a smaller group and you're looking to share with others to split the costs, just drop us a line and we'll try to accommodate you with others who may be looking to share as well.
If you don't have time for a whole day at sea, we can also provide half day tours of the island, in the afternoons, starting either from Capri or from Sorrento. The half day tours start from Marina Grande at 13:30, lasting for 3 hours until 16:30, during which time you'll complete a full circuit of the island. Everything included in the full day tours (skipper, towels etc), is included in the half day tours as well.
Please note, the half day tours of Capri starting from Sorrento are only available in low season, from 1 March to 31 May and from 1 to 31 October.
