Latest update: 1 February 2024
Capri Philosophical Park is the brainchild of Swedish economist Gunnar Adler Karlsson. The park is a wonderful journey through nature while considering philosophical ideas and ideals.
The visitor to the park can choose a series of different paths to enlightenment, for example choosing the Realism Path or simply wandering around the free to enter park while passing quotes from the dozens of philosophers from Machiavelli to Socrates. Located in the Migliera area of the island, the park lies in one of the most beautiful natural landscapes on Capri. Once your mind is full of philosophy you can make sense of your thoughts while gazing out to sea with stunning views down to the Punta Carena Lighthouse in one direction or to the many craggy little bays where boats gather in the other. |
