The ancient city of Neapolis was built along the lines of three major streets known as the decumani. Via dei Tribunali at the heart of Naples' centro storico is the central, Decumanus Maggiore. 

There are few streets in the city as lively as this one; apart from the general hustle and bustle it's home to major sights including the Basilica di San Paolo Maggiore and the famous Sorbillo pizzeria.
