Porta Capuana Naples
Latest update: 29 January 2024
The Porta Capuana is one of the most obvious signs of Naples' history yet stands very much at the periphery of typical sightseeing itineraries. Built in the 15th century, the ancient city gate marks the north-eastern boundary of the city's centro storico.
A few steps from the Porta Capuana is the Castel Capuano which then leads on to the bustling street called Via dei Tribunali. |
