The Basilica di San Francesco di Paola dominates one side of Naples' central square: Piazza del Plebiscito. The church was built in 1816 and its distinctive neoclassical facade is one of the most iconic images of modern-day Naples.
It lies opposite the Royal Palace of Naples with some of the city's most famous sights such as the Teatro San Carlo a few steps away. |
