Conca dei Marini
Latest update: 11 August 2024
One of the most striking sights on the Amalfi Coast is the village of Conca dei Marini.
Included in the list of "Borghi Più Belli d'Italia" (Italy's Most Beautiful Villages), Conca certainly lives up to its name with its heady cocktail of beaches next to crystalline water and cliffside village. Located along the Amalfi Coast Road between Praiano and Amalfi, Conca dei Marini is split into several areas. |

The beautiful beach can be seen from the main road which divides the lower and upper halves. At its highest point the village reaches 400 metres above sea level. Also within the environs of Conca dei Marini is the fascinating sea cave known as the Grotta dello Smeraldo (the Emerald Cave).
From the main road you'll find the Hotel Belvedere and from there, a path that leads around 300 steps down to the beach known as Marina di Conca (easily confused with the name of the village itself!). You also have the option of heading inland and up the steep hill to the main part of the village.
