Vico Equense marks the entry point to the Sorrento Peninsula when driving away from Naples and has a very different feel to the city's suburbs.
When you approach by car from Castellammare di Stabia you climb a hill with some stunning views across the Gulf of Naples. Entering Vico Equense you're met with more dramatic clifftop vistas and a pretty town characterised by its bars, restaurants, hotels and trendy shops. |
In Vico Equense itself there's a lovely beach area where the water is crystal clear and just a short distance away is the neighbouring town of Marina di Equa.
