The Sorrento luggage storage facilities can be really useful if you're just planning to visit the town for the day or passing through on your way to another destination.
Instead of walking around the town with your heavy suitcases and bags, you can safely stow them away and enjoy unencumbered exploration, go swimming or eat in a restaurant. There are at least three locations in Sorrento that provide luggage storage and each one has its own benefits. The right one for you will depend on your travel plans for the day. |

If you're arriving in Sorrento by train and then leaving by train later the same day, the most convenient luggage storage is the one situated just outside the train station. As you leave the station via the main entrance, the luggage storage facility can be found to your left in the tourist information office.
You may be arriving in Sorrento by train, car or boat, before heading off somewhere else. In cases where you're planning to spend the day in Sorrento without taking the train both to and from the town, a good solution is is the Marino 2 Edicola (newsagents)which can be found close to the town centre at the following address and also shown on the map below:

A third option is the Ametista dedicated storage facility which can be found to the east of Sorrento train station. This is a very well organised facility with its own website (see green button link below) explaining prices and options.
However, the one drawback with the Ametista facility is that it's in the opposite direction to the town centre from the train station; a seven minute walk of 500 metres in each direction.

If you're arriving in Sorrento by ferry for the day, you'll find a luggage storage facility at the small ticket office between the taxi rank on the right and the larger building on the left: visible below on the map and in the Google Map screenshot.
