Capri  Green  Grotto

The Green Grotto is one of a series of beautiful caves around Capri's coastal areas along with the much more famous Blue Grotto and lesser known White Grotto. 

Known locally as the Grotta Verde, the water around the cave gives off a beautiful green colour, an effect caused by the reflection of the light. The easiest way to see the Green Grotto is by taking a boat tour of the whole island starting from Marina Grande. These boat tours cost around €10 per person and also stop at the other grottoes.
