The Capri One Day Itinerary is for those visitors to the island on a strict time-limit, with those constraints determined by the arrival and departure times of the ferries and hydrofoils.
Typically, the majority of visitors arrive mid-morning and leave around late afternoon so we've based our itineraries around that but of course there's no hard and fast rule for this. |

Start at Marina Grande
Begin your day in Capri by buying three bus and funicular railway tickets (these can be used for both). Head to the funicular railway and take it up to the charming Capri Town.

From the Piazzetta, take a short walk to the Augustus Gardens. Here, you can stroll among beautiful flowers while soaking in the panoramic views of the Faraglioni rocks—Capri's iconic sea stacks.

Walk back to the Piazzetta and head over to the bus station. Take the bus up to Anacapri, the island’s second town, offering a more tranquil vibe compared to Capri Town.

From Piazza Vittoria in Anacapri, take the chairlift up to Mount Solaro, the highest point on Capri. Enjoy breathtaking views as you ascend. Once at the top, treat yourself to a meal or snack at the restaurant with panoramic views of the island.

Based on arrival at Marina Grande at 09:30 and departure around 17:30
