Museo del Centro Caprese Ignazio Cerio
Latest update: 1 February 2024
The Ignazio Cerio Museum is located opposite the Chiesa Santo Stefano in Capri Town, close to the Piazzetta.
The museum houses a variety of exhibits including a fascinating collection of archaeological artefacts that help to tell the story of Capri's past. You have the choice of wandering around the museum by yourselves or choosing a tour with one of the very knowledgeable guides who really bring the history of Capri to life. Another interesting feature of the building is its balcony which affords one of the best views on the island. You can look directly down on to the busy Piazzetta in one direction or cast your eyes further to enjoy the magnificent vista of Marina Grande with its beautiful blue water. |
