The Lungomare Caracciolo is an elegant waterfront promenade and one of the most important streets in Naples. On Sundays the street is a magnet for Neapolitans who like to take their weekend passeggiata nestled between the sea and the tree-lined street. 

Alongside the Lungomare is the Villa Comunale park which stretches between the districts of Mergellina and Chiaia.
