Marina  di  Equa

Marina di Equa is a pretty beach and marina area close to the town of Vico Equense towards the north eastern section of the Sorrento Peninsula, around 11 kilometres from Sorrento. It has a lovely main piazza with a couple of bars and restaurants and there are dozens of other places dotted around the marina where you can stop for something to eat or drink. Aside from this are a selection of beach clubs and also a section of free beach.

Directions: You can take the train from Sorrento to Vico Equense which is 5 stops and just 11 minutes away. From the train station the best way to reach Marina di Equa on foot is via a path called Via Pezzolo. From the train station turn left, follow the road as it bends left and then at the main roundabout turn right. Follow the main road as it then bears left and you'll start to get some great views down to Marina di Equa from a little garden. When you leave the garden, follow the main road down the hill and after just a few metres you'll see a bus stop on the left with some steps leading down. Turn right at the bottom of these steps and you'll be on Via Pezzolo which will take you all the way down to Marina di Equa.
