Castel Capuano
Latest update: 29 January 2024
The Castel Capuano is one of four castles in Naples featured on this site, but unlike the other three, it's in a rather dilapidated state and attracts few visitors.
Originally built in the 12th century, it has undergone a variety of transformations and was once used as the city's halls of justice. It's situated just a short distance from the Porta Capuana city gate. |
