Directions to the Clinic from Piazza Tasso
Despite the Covid Test Clinic being situated on the main shopping street in Sorrento, it can be a little confusing if you only use the Google Map position. If you're standing on Piazza Tasso and facing the sea with Bar Fauno behind you, turn to your right and make your way towards Corso Italia, passing the statue of Sant'Antonio Abate which faces the exact direction you need to follow.
Keep going past the pretty, bright yellow painted Santuario della Madonna del Carmine and continue along Corso Italia for around 4 minutes, a distance of around 250 metres. This is is the same road that eventually leads up to Sorrento Train Station but you don't need to go as far as that.
You will eventually reach a zebra crossing at a point where there are covered shopping walkways on each side of the street. On one side of the street you'll find the beautifully-named "Bar Meeting" which usually has a couple of tables on the street and a red Coca-Cola umbrella covering them. A few steps beyond Bar Meeting, there's a break in the buildings and an entranceway that leads into some apartment blocks. To the right of the main entrance road gate, there's a smaller, pedestrian gate to the left of the Goldenpoint shop.
Walk through the pedestrian gate and then turn right at the first walkway. The entrance to the clinic is located on the left of this walkway and marked by a glass door with Scala B (Staircase B) written on the wall. Enter the door and make your way up one flight of stairs where you will find the Clinic's reception.
