The ferry tickets and timetables between Sorrento and Positano how up to five daily crossings and one sailing which takes place on weekends only.
The boats used are called "aliscafi" in Italian which translates as hydrofoils in English but they don't all take the form of the craft with large skis and can just as well be referred to as fast ferries. The services are operated by two companies: NLG (Navigazione Libera del Golfo) and Alilauro. Journey times between Sorrento and Positano are between 30 and 50 minutes. |
Sailings between Sorrento and Positano are seasonal with crossings available from the beginning of April until the end of October.
