Ferry Tickets and Timetables Between Capri and Naples
Latest update: 2 February 2024
The ferry tickets and timetables between Capri and Naples for 2023 will be updated shortly. There are currently four companies operating ferry and hydrofoil services between Capri and Naples. The ferries are the slower option with a longer journey time but although they do carry vehicles, those vehicles can only be brought on board if they are registered to residents of Capri.
To all intents and purposes, non-resident visitors to Capri can only cross as a foot passenger. One of the companies offering services is Caremar who provide both ferries and hydrofoils which are sometimes referred to as "fast ferries". |

This is actually a more accurate description as only very few of their craft are the typical hydrofoils with skis that many people recognise. The fast ferries are sometimes the shape of a catamaran but the most distinguishing aspect is the reduced journey time; 50 minutes for the fast ferry/hydrofoil as opposed to an hour and 20 minutes for the regular ferries.
Another company: NLG (Navigazione Libera del Golfo), provides hydrofoil services only. Their journey times are 45 minutes each way but they only operate from 1st April to 30th September. The Caremar services are available all year round.
The cheapest adult single ticket is €14.80 for a Caremar ferry, rising to €21.50 for the NLG hydrofoils. Reductions are in place for different age-groups for children with a full breakdown of prices below.
