Naples Airport Transfer with Pizza Stop
Latest update: 31 January 2024
The Naples Airport Transfer with Pizza Stop is something we've developed as a result of the many requests we've had from people who want to sample one of Napoli's proudest traditions. As a supplement to your regular transfer to or from Naples Airport or the train station (Napoli Stazione Centrale), we can add a two hour stop for a price of €45 during low season (16 October to 14 April). The price during high season depends on various factors so please drop us an email for confirmation of that.
Our driver will take a detour to the city centre, arriving outside Pizzeria Brandì, one of the oldest and most celebrated pizzerias in Naples and where the Margherita was invented in 1889. The pizzeria is handily situated close to the main square Piazza del Plebiscito and some of the city's most famous sights including Teatro San Carlo, the Royal Palace of Naples, Castel Nuovo and the Galleria Umberto I. You can have your pizza and then try a coffee at another of Napoli's most famous institutions, the Gran Caffè Gambrinus, just a few steps away.
We can't do this for every transfer as the pizzeria is only open for lunch between the hours of 12:30 and 16:00, but if it's something you're interested in, just let us know your planned arrival or departure time and we'll see if we can make it work. Sometimes we'll arrive before the pizzeria opens so you can see some of the nearby sights before eating, or if it's close to closing time, we'll take you directly there and allow you to have a little walk around the centre afterwards if you wish.
